⚠️ Note on Compatibility:
Briggs & Stratton 450E–550E engines have two different air filter cover designs.
This kit uses the new-style cover (part 595660) with two straight-down tabs at the bottom.
Some older 450E/500E engines use an angled 45° latch style cover (part 590581) which looks similar but is not interchangeable.
Please check the shape of your original cover before ordering — if your cover has angled prongs, this kit will not fit.
