Please check your wiring carefully against the following terminal functions:
B (Battery) – 12V power from battery
S (Start) – to starter solenoid
M (Magneto) – engine kill wire (grounds to stop engine)
G (Ground) – chassis ground
L (Lights/Accessories) – optional output
Key positions:
OFF: M + G connected (engine off)
RUN: B + L connected
START: B + S connected
If wires are connected incorrectly (especially B to ground or M), it will blow the fuse immediately.

I’ve just checked our current stock, and the switch you received is the same as what is shown in the listing.
For this type of 5-pin ignition switch (725-0267 / 925-0267), the terminals are marked (B, S, M, G, L), and sometimes the layout can look different depending on how it’s viewed or compared with the original switch.
Could you please send me a photo of your original switch and the one you received?
I’ll help you confirm the wiring and make sure it matches correctly.
