I have a Briggs and Stratton 500e engine and the starter cup is completely different to the one that is required with this 'compete kit'. It is called like OEM, however it is very different to the factory componets. So beware, this recoil starter kit is useless without that crucial component; which is now required to be bought separately to make it compatible.
